Optimized Inventory Management at Scale

The Problem:

Zappos’ Inventory Team was stretched with a variety of daily tasks, diverting their time and attention away from their core, strategic initiatives. The Manager needed to reallocate this work so that his team could focus on more impactful work.

The Solution:

They partnered with the Upwork Professional team to help recruit and onboard a team of 8 Inventory Management Office Assistants, each in less than 1 week. This team now handles tasks such as data entry, delivery tracking, price changes, merchandise QA, PO management, etc. – freeing the internal team to be more strategic.
