The Problem

Mustafa was tasked with creating an external/internal platform to improve the creation, management and discovery of watch parties for all our Esports/Organized Play initiatives. The existing process was labor-intensive, time-consuming, and error-prone, risking disappointment among fans and missed revenue opportunities.

The Solution

Working closely with his Upwork Program Team, Mustafa scoped the project milestones and skillsets needed developing a Talent Sourcing Strategy. Within weeks, a skilled team was sourced, vetted, and hired. Including a Project Manager with Backend Developer experience and three Developers. Today, they are in the final phase of building the Watch Party Platform.

The Impact
  • This will ultimately save Riot significant time & money in managing tech, schedules, and contracts.
  • Influencers will have a more accessible way to register fan interest and update viewers in real-time. 
  • All with fans having a live updated list of where and when to watch eSports events.
