How Nestlé is getting work done on Upwork

PM Support for 35+ Brand Site Launches

The Problem:

The Nestlé Team was re-designing and developing new brand websites for 35+ brands (Project Alpha) within a tight timeline. They needed an organized Project Manager, experienced working cross-functionally with creative teams to oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and stability for each of the site launches. They needed to find not only the right set of skills, but also someone who could work remotely at the beginning of the global pandemic (March 2020), but visit the office as needed once cleared to return.

The Solution:

Jonathan Dillon & Emily Godbey from Nestlé’s internal agency, The LEAD, partnered with Upwork Professionals for project scoping and consultation. They quickly found and on-boarded their new PM who was within budget and available for an immediate start.

The Impact:

Digital Innovation Managers to Support Emerging Tech Strategy

The Problem:

Orchid Bertelsen, Head of Digital Innovation, needed a strategic partner to support several key 2020 initiatives around emerging technology, including AI, blockchain and direct to consumer models and tech enablement.

The Solution:

Orchid identified the specific skill sets required for someone to succeed in this role including strategy, project management, marketing, business dev, and an interest in AI and digital innovation. Upwork Professionals took these requirements to help source and onboard.

The Impact:

BOOST® Mobility Photography Made Possible During Pandemic

The Problem:

Nestlé Health Sciences had a need to refresh their Instagram & Facebook content for nutrition brand, BOOST® Mobility.

The Solution:

During the COVID-19 quarantine, Nestlé’s in-house production studio and go-to photographers were shut down and unable to hold a photo shoot.

The Impact:
