The Problem:

The Content Ops team needed specialized experts to enable rapid product growth support and expansion to new languages.

The Solution:

Since 2017, the team has been leveraging Upwork to engage contractors from around the world to provide translation, localization, and proofreading across numerous languages. Currently there are over 200 active global experts supporting the build of new courses and lessons across Duolingo’s Products.
