The EVTS team needed to scale their Transcription QC work due to increased demand, but needed to do it in a way that wouldn’t bog down their full time employee’s time. The team didn’t have the skill set in house and finding sourcing the skill sets, testing individuals was a time consuming process and they needed a way to expedite this. 

Through Upwork, they were able to engage an agency in the Philippines and scale their Transcription QC program to great satisfaction.

Bloomberg needed to quickly create a “micro-learning” content library of “how to” videos for common customer support tasks that would be used to train BLP support staff. Once Covid hit, the customer support team was inundated with common client support requests and they needed a quick solution that would get their internal team trained on how to handle these inbound support requests from customers.

Upwork’s talent partners helped the team to source talent to create the “how-to” videos in a short time frame. Upon successful completion of test projects, they selected, Alex of UCY Films Agency and agency, MotionCue to execute the videos.

The Marketing Studio was assigned a project to support an urban planning initiative to make a public space safer for a specific community in France. The project required a redesign and marketing activations, to make the area more welcoming and change the perception that the space was unsafe. The main stakeholder for this project was located in France, but the team did not have a fluent French speaker. To effectively convey the team's ideas and solutions to their problem in their native language, they needed to find a native French speaker who was familiar with the local area.

The team identified Gwladys, a fluent French speaker who was familiar with the public space and able to give BBG personal insights on the space based on her own experience and anecdotes from friends and colleagues.

Gladys helped the team by translating presentations, communicating design concepts to the client, and taking stakeholder calls, and offering insights to improve the pitch, project name, etc.
